Position Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy equipment and Public Works vehicles in support of cemetery maintenance, construction, and operational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, a strong understanding of equipment maintenance and mechanics, and working knowledge of cemetery operations.
This position requires a high level of professionalism, sensitivity, and respect while working in an active cemetery environment and supporting funeral services. The successful candidate must be capable of performing physically demanding work and heavy manual labor in a variety of weather conditions.
