| The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Environmental Analyst for the Water Operations Division within the Department of Public Works. Under the direction of the Director of Environmental Systems, the Environmental Analyst is an entry-level position with a primary focus on water quality within the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Unit and Water Operations Division of the Department of Public Works. This position will include field work such as the collection of water samples for lab analysis, field testing for water quality, inspection of lands and facilities for potential sources of pollution and the inspection of homes and businesses relative to water use. Office related duties include reviewing water quality data, researching water related issues, entering water quality test results in a database and responding to customer inquiries.
