Rich Benevento has over 40 years of experience in the facilitation and administration of transportation infrastructure improvement projects. Specializing in transportation planning, engineering, and regulatory permitting, he has assisted municipalities, state agencies, and private clients in executing key infrastructure projects. Rich is a recognized expert on federal and state funding programs, having secured hundreds of millions of dollars for communities throughout Massachusetts. A recognized leader, Rich has served as Chairman of the City of Beverly’s Parking & Traffic Commission since 2007. Rich also serves as Chairman for the Town of Middleton’s Zoning Board of Appeals. He is the Past President of the APWA New England Chapter and currently serves on the APWA National Board of Directors. In 2018 Rich was honored as a Life Member of APWA. In 2019 Rich received APWA’s Distinguished Service to Public Works Award and in 2022 received the APWA New England Chapter Distinguished Service Award.
