Jerry Lukowski serves as the Director of Public Works for the Town of Watertown, Connecticut, overseeing essential infrastructure services for a community of 24,000 residents. In this executive role he manages administration, capital projects, engineering, highways, flood control, solid waste management, water and sewer. A skilled leader, he frequently collaborates with municipal boards and organizes teams to address critical community initiatives. A native of Connecticut, Jerry comes from a military family and served in the Connecticut Army National Guard (CTARNG) for 36 years in roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as the Chief of Staff of the CTARNG. During Jerry military career he served in the Combat Engineers and as the Construction and Facility Management Officer and he directly coordinated and executed $975 Million in Military Construction and Operations & Maintenance Budgets for the Connecticut Military Department. Which transformed the outdated Military Facilities and Infrastructure into state-of-the-Art facilities to support the unit’s readiness across the state. Jerry has deployed to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Mexican Border and to many of Connecticut’s Town and Cities in response to Natural Disasters. Jerry is excited about advancing Watertown Public Works Department in supporting the residents and improving the town’s infrastructure.
