The Governance Committee is responsible for ensuring the Chapter is well-managed by overseeing Executive Committee performance, developing director recruitment and succession plans, establish policies related to board operations, such as attendance and job descriptions and ensuring compliance with the Chapter By-Laws and National policies and rules, updating Chapter governing documents, and managing risk to protect the Chapter’s interests and stakeholders. Keep track of expenditures, manage the Committee’s budget, and provide annual budget requests to support recommended activities. Provide reports on the committee’s activities and progress to the Executive Committee and President.
