The Awards Committee is responsible for managing the Chapter’s national awards program which includes overseeing the nomination, evaluation, and selection process for APWA National and Chapter individual, group, and project awards. The recognition of outstanding contributions, achievements, or service within Chapter States. Periodically review the eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and categories for each award and ensure the process is conducted ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest and maintaining confidentiality throughout process. Individual State awards are determined by respective State Directors but coordinated through the Awards Committee. The committee ensures that the awards process is fair, transparent, and aligned with the values and goals of the APWA and the Chapter. Provide reports on the committee’s activities and progress to the Executive Committee and President.
