The Event Committee is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events by managing aspects including budget, logistics, marketing, and volunteer coordination. Committee duties include strategic planning, securing funding and sponsorships, coordinating entertainment and programs, and evaluating the event’s success to ensure goals are met. Set event goals, themes, overall strategy, develop event timelines and plans. Keep track of expenditures, manage the Committee’s budget, and provide annual budget request to support recommend events. Provide reports on the committee’s activities and progress to the Executive Committee and President.
