Allison McMordie has served as the City Engineer for Westfield, Massachusetts since July 2022. With prior experience as City Engineer for Pittsfield, and as an engineer at Tighe & Bond, Allison brings a strong background in infrastructure development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in Architecture from Syracuse University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Engineering Management at UMass Amherst.
A Westfield native, Allison is dedicated to enhancing her hometown with sustainable, efficient, and innovative infrastructure solutions that improve the community’s connectivity and quality of life. She holds several professional credentials, including Massachusetts Engineer In Training, LEED Green Associate, and Envision Sustainability Professional.
In addition to her role in Westfield, Allison serves on the Executive Board of the New England APWA and the Board of the MassHighway Association, where she advocates for infrastructure resilience, professional development, and community engagement.
